Experience a Victorian Afternoon Tea with 35 Christmas Trees Enjoy the ambiance of the tearoom with its crisp linens, fine English Bone China, teapots with cozies, and tiered luncheon servers. Savor the Victorian Afternoon Tea Presentation, graciously served by attentive staff, which includes a freshly brewed pot of tea of your choice, a seasonal salad, a petite cup of soup, a homemade scone with clotted cream & lemon curd, and an assortment of five different types of tea sandwiches and a full plate of home-made desserts. Holiday Tea Reservations for the five-course tea is required with advance payment of $50 per person plus tax and gratuity on weekends, $20 for children 12 and under and free for children five and under. $10 off for Seniors every Wednesday. Live music and history of the Inn given daily. Seating Times 11 and 3 pm daily. We offer a daily prefixed menu with gourmet options that everyone will love. Toms River Elks is excited to announce that this year’s Festival of Trees will be held on Thursday December 5, 2024. The theme of this year’s event is inclusion! The great hall will be decorated of course! This year the decorations will include Dr Seuss inspired designs created by our special children. What is the Festival of Trees? Local non-profit organizations are invited to participate in this event by displaying a beautifully decorated artificial Christmas tree that represents your organization and the services that you provide. On December 5th we will welcome the public to our gala holiday festival, complete with snacks and beverages for all. This year we have some real treats in store for you, including a S’mores Bar! Our cash kitchen will also be open for you to purchase a light fare of dinner foods. There will be music throughout the evening including a performance by the students in the Toms River Orchestra. Santa will be in the house! This event has had hundreds of followers for years now! Join us for the Annual Tree Lighting in the courtyard of Town Hall in Downtown Toms River. Live entertainment begins at 5pm. Santa arrives on the fire truck at 7pm to light the tree. Photos with Santa will follow the tree lighting in Town Hall. Hot Chocolate & cookies for sale to benefit Volunteer Toms River Fire Co. #1. Downtown restaurants and businesses will be open.
