Get involved! – Participate on Committees
We have positions on our committees that assist with the broader work of Downtown Toms River and contribute to the revitalization effort. Downtown Toms River’s committees meet on a regular basis and are involved in providing direction for every aspect of the BID ’s activities. Committee activities range from planning promotions, to developing programs for attracting new businesses, to projects that improve the experience for visitors to the area.
The committees are:
Promotions (Special Events, Marketing.)
Design (Downtown streetscape, holiday decorating, banners.)
Cultural (Cultural initiatives, mutual coordination with local cultural groups.)
Resident (If you live within the borders of the district this committee meets to share ideas and concerns of the residents in the district.)
