Engage Toms River Community Mural Project

Downtown Toms River has collaborated with the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation.

Elizabeth Paseler is the Winner of the $10,000 Engage Toms River Community Mural Project!

By the end of May, the community will be invited to paint the mural at the Ocean County Library, Toms River Branch!

Read, Sculpt, Share: Teen Book Sculpting Competition

Thursday, Apr. 30, 5pm

This competition is open to residents of Ocean County from the ages of 12-18
Sculpt a book into art and Win a Prize!!
Cut, fold, glue.... whatever you like as long as the main material is a book. The library can provide a used book for this project to registered contestants.

Scupltures are due by April 30, 2015 and all entries will be on display for the month of May.

Winners will be announced mid-May.
Prizes:
1st Place- $25 Barnes and Noble gift card & $25 art supplies gift card
2nd Place- $25 Barnes and Noble gift card & $10 art supplies gift card
3rd Place- $25 Barnes and Noble gift card

Grants and loans are through the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA). Small businesses and nonprofits struck by the storm are eligible for grants that can be used toward working capital or new construction. Application / Notification List on Sandy assistance programs.
