The Toms River Elks Spring Craft Market is an indoor market that will feature more than 110 tables of products made and sourced by 74 local vendors. The Spring Craft Market is free to attend. Stop by and do some shopping and learn more about the Toms River Elks! Parents of children with special needs are invited to bring the kids along for some fun rock painting activities with the Toms River Elks Special Children's Committee.
Toms River Elks Bowling Bash
Playdrome 821 Conifer St, Toms River, NJ, United StatesThe Toms River Elks Plunge Committee is holding a Bowling Bash on Saturday August 10, 2024 to raise money to help send children with special needs to camp. Bowlers pay $25 and pre-registration is necessary. The price for this open event includes two hours of bowling at Playdrome (including shoes) from 11 AM to 1 PM followed by lunch at the lodge. For people or companies that wish to support the event but cannot attend, lane sponsorships are available. Visit www.tomsriverelks.org/plunge-bowling to reserve a space or get more information. All proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit Elks Camp Moore. Elks Camp Moore is the New Jersey Elks State Project. A week at Elks Camp Moore is a remarkable experience not soon to be forgotten. The primary goal of the camp is to further develop the recreational and social skills of each child. Toms River Elks Trunk or Treat
Toms River Elks 600 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ, United StatesThe Toms River Elks Special Children’s Committee (SCC) is hosting this year’s Trunk or Treat. The SCC works with compassion and dedication to provide programs and events for children and adults with special needs. Our programs allow for special children of all ages to interact socially, and encourages them to attain their full potential. Participants in SCC programs have the opportunity to partake in many lodge events and programs such as dances, cooking classes and buddy bocce at no cost. This event is open to the public and free to attend. We are inviting nonprofit organizations, businesses and members of the community to participate by decorating their vehicle and passing out candy or child appropriate sensory toys to all the trick or treaters as they walk around to each vehicle. Awards will be handed out for the best-decorated vehicles and children in costume. The rain date for the event is Saturday, October 19, 2024. The parade will begin at 2:30 PM.
