Through the fascinating and often-overlooked lives of more than a dozen key players, including Abigail Adams, Phillis Wheatley, Alice Paul, Pauli Murray, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Barbara Jordan, Ordinary Equality examines how and why constitutional equality for all marginalized genders has been systematically undermined for over two centuries. Kate lives in Washington, DC, with her partner, Jamie Manson.
