Downtown Night Out is returning in 2021! We had such a blast last year we are bringing it back. Every Friday and Saturday downtown restaurants and businesses will be open for dining, drinking, shopping and entertaining. A section of Washington Street (between Robbins St. and Main St.) will be closed for outdoor dining.

Every Wednesday from 10am-4pm join the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District at the weekly Farmers' Market located at 700 Main St. (behind New Life Church). 4 Local NJ farms, Organic farm, NJ Winery, gourmet Italian Specialties, baked goods, honey, pickles, olives, and much more! Food truck and smoothie truck on premises every week.

Ocean County Historical Society 26 Hadley Ave, Toms River, NJ, United StatesCelebrate summer at the Shore with Ocean County Historical Society! Our goal is to tell the stories of Ocean County and we are visiting some of the plant and animal residents that you will encounter along the Jersey coastline. On July 11, 2021, at 2:00 PM, please join Denise Willis, a naturalist for 13 years at Cattus Island County Park in Toms River. She will present Bees and Butterflies on Barnegat Bay. A former nursey schoolteacher, Girl Scout leader, and camp counselor, Ms. Willis is charmed by all the flora and fauna that thrive in this environment. Learn about butterfly gardens and beekeeping right here in Ocean County! Garden State Distillery – Summer Art Exhibition – Featuring TRAC Artists
Garden State Distillery 13 Washington Street, Toms River, United StatesOPENING RECEPTION Come out and support two local small businesses. Garden State Distillery will be hosting Toms River Artist Community artist's. TRAC has 29 amazing works of art, made especially for this themed show "Grown here. Made here." This show runs from July 26th - Oct 20th, 2021. All works available for purchase. Garden State Distillery is delighted to implement an Art Initiative to include art exhibitions, arts and culture related private events, and pop up markets featuring local artists. The purpose of which is to enhance the enjoyment of guests and increase the engagement with patrons while they are visiting Garden State Distillery, as well as to advocate for local artists and their artwork, increase the visibility of the Toms River Arts and Culture District and connect with the larger creative community in surrounding Toms River, and Ocean County areas. Additionally, the Art Initiative will bolster existing collaborations among locals artists, businesses, and the public and continue to expand the arts, culture and creative community as a whole
