Halloween Party and Watch the Parade at the Mathis House
The Mathis House at 600 Main 600 Main St., Toms River, NJ, United StatesCome dressed in your favorite costumes to attend the best Halloween Party in town. This event is an outdoor event. We will have music, an outdoor buffet, dessert buffet and tea tastings of our fall teas. Watch the Downtown Toms River Halloween Parade from the circular driveway and seating areas on the property. In the lawn, we will have a bounce machine with a slide, popcorn machine, and cotton candy. Wrist bands will be given to all ticket holders. The winner of the costume contest will win an overnight stay at the B&B. Tickets for adults are $25 and children 12 and under $15. This is a family event and sure to be a great time. Holiday Gifts, Crafts and Collectibles Faire
Toms River South Cafetorium 55 Hyers Street, Toms River, NJ, United StatesOCHS will be hosting their 36th annual Holiday Gifts, Crafts and Collectibles Faire on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It will again be held in the Toms River High School South cafetorium. Admission is free! In addition to over eighty vendor tables, there will be historical and cultural displays, baked goods for sale, our popular 50-50 and much more. This event, sponsored in part by the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, will feature an Ocean County History and Cultural Pavilion. Toms River High School South is in the Downtown Toms River area. Use 212 Hooper Avenue as a GPS setting. Native American Wisdom –Presented by Ande Three Ravens
Ocean County Historical Society 26 Hadley Ave, Toms River, NJ, United StatesSunday, November 16th—Native American Wisdom –Presented by Ande Three Ravens Three Ravens is an Indigenous American artist of Misikita Black Foot and Mandan ancestry. He is an expert flute player, instrument maker, percussionist, and vocalist who specializes in the rich, ancient Indigenous traditions of South, Meso, and North American Native Indian music and storytelling. Three Ravens along with Little Hawk did over two hundred Native American cultural, historical, and interactive programs in the New York City public schools. In addition, he worked at the NYC Department of Education and retired after 47 years of service focusing on youth development, conflict resolution and building bridges. These events take place at our museum at 26 Hadley Avenue in Toms River. These events are free, but your donations in support of our programs are appreciated.
