TRFD #2 100th Anniversary Celebration

A fire truck parade through downtown Toms River will be followed by a celebration in Huddy Park with live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and fun for all ages. We will have an award ceremony after our parade with trophies for all types of apparatus... we even have a marine unit category! We look forward to celebrating with you on Saturday May 14th, 2022!

1st Annual WAKE UP TOMS RIVER – TRAC at the Toms River Seaport

Join TRAC at the Toms River Seaport for a great day of art outside and the historic Seaport Museum/gift shop inside. Local artist and crafters will fill the grounds of the Seaport with handmade original pieces of art of all kinds. Author Talk with Sabeeha Rehman and Walter Ruby: We Refuse to be Enemies
The Ocean County Library 101 Washington St, Toms River, NJ, United StatesAuthors Sabeeha Rehman and Walter Ruby will highlight the message of their book We Refuse to Be Enemies, a manifesto by two American citizens, a Muslim woman and Jewish man, concerned with the rise of intolerance and bigotry in our country. Subtitled How Muslims and Jews Can Make Peace, One Friendship at a Time, the book is a manifesto that two Americans, a Muslim woman and a Jewish man, created in response to the perceived rise of bias and bigotry in the US. Rehman and Ruby have spent decades in interfaith collaborations, nurturing cooperation among communities. They will share their observations about ways that people of all backgrounds can create lasting friendships through knowledge and trust. TRAC ART WALK ON MAIN
The Downtown Shops 53 Main St, Toms Rivet, NJ, United StatesTRAC ART WALK ON MAIN Join Toms River Artist Community and friends at our monthly Art Walk. Starting Wednesday May 4th, 2022 and continuing the first Wednesday of every month. Tables will be set up along the sidewalk on Main St. (starting at The Downtown Shops, 53 Main St.) TRAC artist’s along with some friends will be showing off and selling their works right on Main St. Some of the artist’s will be doing demos, some artists will have mini projects for the kids to take home. You never know when live entertainment will show up either! Don't forget to visit the stores in the Downtown Shops and all the other businesses Toms River has to offer. This is a free, family friendly event.
