Join us for an Open Studio night! The last Tuesday of every month 5:30-8:30pm. Bring your own supplies, bring your own snacks/drinks. Come out and paint, draw, sketch or whatever you want. Hang out with your fellow artists, ask for help if you’re stuck on something, get new ideas from others and help spark your creativity! A fun relaxing night to just chill and do some artin’ In the Activity Room at The Downtown Shops @ 53 Main, 53 Main St. Toms River. Members are free, non members are welcome to join for $5.00 a session

TRAC ART WALK ON MAIN
TRAC ART WALK ON MAIN Join Toms River Artist Community and friends at our monthly Art Walk. Starting Wednesday May 4th, 2022 and continuing the first Wednesday of every month. Tables will be set up along the sidewalk on Main St. (starting at The Downtown Shops, 53 Main St.) TRAC artist’s along with some friends will be showing off and selling their works right on Main St. Some of the artist’s will be doing demos, some artists will have mini projects for the kids to take home. You never know when live entertainment will show up either! Don't forget to visit the stores in the Downtown Shops and all the other businesses Toms River has to offer. This is a free, family friendly event.

The Longest Day: The Heroes of D-Day
The Longest Day: The Heroes of D-Day On June 12th, you are invited to join Dr. Jeff Schenker at Ocean County Historical Society, 26 Hadley Avenue, Toms River, as he discusses the individual heroes of June 6, 1944, and what led to an Allied Victory during World War II. Jeff is a popular Adjunct Professor of History at Ocean County College, having earned a Master’s Degree in History from Monmouth College and a Doctorate in History from Drew University. Jeff was fortunate to spend eight days in France studying the Normandy Invasion on a Stephen Ambrose tour. He is a dynamic speaker, well versed in the details of D-Day. You will learn about General Dwight Eisenhower and the men directly involved in the battle. The in-person program begins at 2:00 PM in the OCHS museum. There is no admission fee. No refreshments will be served. Masks are optional.
