Downtown Scarecrow Walk
The Downtown Toms River Scarecrow Walk The Scarecrow Walk is once again returning to Downtown Toms River. The streets in downtown are lined with scarecrows for this annual event. For two weeks the public is invited to visit and vote on their favorite. Participating businesses will have ballots for voting. Just look for the Scarecrow Walk poster in their window! Oct. 11th – 31st Location Washington & Main Street When October 11th to October 31st The Scarecrow Walk is once again returning to Downtown Toms River. The community is invited to come downtown and vote for their favorite scarecrow. Scarecrows are on display from October 11th to October 31st . Participating businesses will have ballots for voting. So, dig out those old clothes from the attic, rummage through your fall decorations and start designing the perfect scarecrow. The contest is open to all ages and there is no entry fee. The Ocean County Library 101 Washington St, Toms RiverThis performance featuring horror, humor and hauntings will make a ghoulish start to the Halloween season. From classic ghost stories, Shakespeare’s witches, contemporary poems, and the wisdom of children on their own special holiday, the show’s cast features many of the same actors who have shared delightful evenings with you in the past.
