Holocaust Remembrance Day Film/Q&A with Director
The Ocean County Library 101 Washington St, Toms RiverIn honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary They Survived Together. The film traces the incredible survival story of the Neiger family, who desperately tried to stay together as a family while escaping Nazi occupied Kraków. The family endured unspeakable hardships and were separated from the older brother Ben, but ultimately made it out alive and intact. They are believed to be one of the only families to escape and survive as a family. Director John Rokosny and Producer Andriette Redmann, both residents of Point Pleasant, will answer questions after the film screening. The film received a New York Emmy in 2022 for Best Historical Documentary. Runtime: 1 hour and 13 minutes. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean County Library – Toms River.
Ancient Wisdom Shamanic Journey Group
Downtown Shops Activity Room 53 Main Street, Toms RiverThe study group will explore the basic shamanic journey, as well as trance posture, power animal journey, use of a spirit canoe, and the nature of the Upper, Middle, and Lower Worlds.
