The Oxx Foundation is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Ocean County, New Jersey, committed to creating stronger, more resilient communities through advocacy, education, and creative healing. Rooted in a vision of “Hope in Motion,” the foundation blends trauma-informed care with innovative programming that addresses the needs of individuals, families, and schools.
Through initiatives such as art therapy and dance/exercise therapy, The Oxx Foundation provides opportunities for creative expression and healing, particularly for those living with Parkinson’s disease and other life challenges. Its support groups and safe spaces foster connection, compassion, and shared resilience.
The foundation also invests in the future through its scholarship programs, including the “Strength in Resilience” Scholarship and the Susan Young Memorial Scholarship, supporting students in health-related fields, education, and leadership. Community engagement is at the heart of its mission, with signature events like Autumn Lights: Festival for Parkinson’s, Pitch in for Parkinson’s, and A Night at the Oscars Gift Auction raising both awareness and critical funding.
