The LIDA Adoption Center prides itself on providing a welcoming environment to all
1. During our Friday night and weekend hours the Center is open to the public. There is no appointment needed , no fee and no requirement of an approved application. A simple desire to interact respectfully wtih the cats is the only requirement for visiting with them. All ages are welcome.
2. The Center is ADA compliant.
3. Our cats range in age from kitten to senior and we feature a multitude of personalities
. their only unifying feature being their need of a home and family.

3. In addition to our adult volunteers, we welcome student volunteers who function as interns, learining about cats, the adoption process, rescue in general and interacting with the public.
