Coach Signorino challenged his players to believe in “The Impossible Dream\,” and\, with guts and grit\, they clinched 19 consecutive wins. \nThe one-hour film features rare footage of “The Greatest Game Ever Played at the Jersey Shore\,” an epic battle in 1969 between Toms River South’s Hitting Indians and the Middletown Lions\, that helped put Shore Conference Football on the map. Poignant interviews with former players reveal the impact Coach Signorino has had on their lives–-on and off the field–- during his career of more than 50 years. \nAfter the documentary viewing\, producer\, Sandy Levine\, will host a Q&A session. \nFor more than 35 years\, filmmaker Sandra Levine has used her exceptional storytelling skills to inspire good\, through informative documentaries\, and engaging feature stories. She’s a nationally known advocate for the ratification of the ERA and host and creator of the podcast Ordinary Equality. Kate lives in Washington\, DC\, with her partner\, Jamie Manson.

DESCRIPTION:In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day\, join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary They Survived Together. The film traces the incredible survival story of the Neiger family\, who desperately tried to stay together as a family while escaping Nazi occupied Kraków. The family endured unspeakable hardships and were separated from the older brother Ben\, but ultimately made it out alive and intact. They are believed to be one of the only families to escape and survive as a family. \nDirector John Rokosny and Producer Andriette Redmann\, both residents of Point Pleasant\, will answer questions after the film screening. \nThe film received a New York Emmy in 2022 for Best Historical Documentary.
