74th Toms River Halloween Parade sponsored by Toms River Fire Company #1
7pm-10pm, Main & Washington Streets. Registration – 9am – 5:30 pm at the Toms River Firehouse #1 on Robbins St.
Information: Carl Weingroff @ 732-244-7941

From simple masks to full blown articulated fire-breathing floats to colorful and energetic marching bands, Downtown Toms River has become the Halloween Capitol of the Universe! The annual Halloween Parade features thousands of participants and floats and more than 100,000 spectators.

The Halloween Parade starts on Main Street at the Toms River Shopping Center (Route 37), continues south on Main St., turns left on Washington St., and ends at the intersection Washington St. and Hooper Ave.

PARADE TIPS: Arrive early and park as far from the parade route as will be comfortable for you to walk. Parking is free throughout Downtown the evening of the parade. Consider, though, the closer to the parade you park, the longer you will sit in traffic when it comes time to leave. Another reason for arriving early is to get a good spot on the parade root. (Keep in mind some people have chairs placed along the parade root days in advance of the parade.)

Dress in layers and bring refreshments (please use litter receptacles or carry your trash home with you).

Fire Company #1 has a very comprehensive web site for the parade. You can find most additional information there, including a map.
